Ripley Cottage is furnished to a high standard. Private off road parking for one car is provided and on road parking is available to front of cottage.
The renovated “out house” area provides secure bike storage.

The holiday cottage has two well appointed living rooms on the ground floor.
The larger living room offers TV/DVD, sofa and dining facilities. A wood burning stove completes the ambience. The smaller is furnished with TV and can comfortably accommodate two sleeping guests.

The small traditional style kitchen is fully equipped, including dishwasher.

Upstairs accommodation:
Master bedroom, with king size bed and wardrobe. The second bedroom provides twin beds and wardrobe. The modern bathroom has bath and shower facilities.

Outside the rear garden area is enclosed enjoying full sun, providing facilities for barbecuing, drying, storing cycles, W.C. and laundry room.

Location
Renowned for having long hours of sunshine, Sandown offers an excellent sandy bay with life guards and blue flag award. A full range of water sports are offered. Tuition/hire is readily available.
All the traditional trappings of the English seaside are available in addition to some more unusual ones: a tiger sanctuary, a dinosaur museum.
Sandown still enjoys excellent rail, bus and road links. Cycling tracks and the coastal paths make Sandown an ideal location for families, walkers and cyclists.

Road Directions

From East Cowes ferry, second exit at roundabout onto Well Road, A3021, A3054 to Newport, A3020 to Sandown, A3056 to Lake, A3055 to Sandown.
From Fishbourne ferry, B3339 (Fishbourne lane), A3054 to Ryde (Esplanade), straight along the Esplanade to the boating lake, follow the road round to the right onto A3055 to Sandown.
From Yarmouth ferry, A3054 to Newport, A3020 to Sandown, A3056 to Lake, A3055 to Sandown.

Public Transport Directions

From Ryde: please either visit the train station annexed to the Catamaran or travel on the No. 3 bus route
From West Cowes Red Jet Hi-speed ferry: No. 1 bus route to Newport and change to No. 8
From Yarmouth ferry: No. 7 Newport and change to No. 8.
For further information please visit the Southern Vectis travel office at Ryde, bottom of pier or the Tourist Information Centre at West Cowes, opposite ferry terminal entrance and at Yarmouth, left of terminal.
